Tips for Keeping Your Baby Away From Sunlight

One of the most important things which you should notice is to protect your baby from sunlight while traveling. Here are some tips you can follow to protect your baby sunlight. Sun burn in babies is very common and it is caused by the overexposure of babies to suns ultraviolet rays. Sun burn in babies causes redness and pain of a mild first-degree burn and appear as burn due to the over exposure of the sunlight. So, it’s very important to protect your babies from sun burn .Severe sunburn may cause red, tender, swollen or scorched skin. A baby is very thin and it’s very delicate so there is possibility of getting sunburn. In order to avoid sunburn while traveling you can use sunhat or sun creams. It’s better to prevent sunburn than curing. If the sunburn is mild, soak a cloth nappy in water, squeeze it out, and gently place it on the sunburned area for 10 to 15 minutes a few times a day and make sure your babies didn’t get chilly.

 

During bathing your baby’s mix one teaspoon of baking soda along with water which helps to cool the skin and reduce redness. Bring a soothing cream and water resistant sunscreen while traveling because that is prescribed by doctors in case of second-degree burn. A soothing cream will reduce the pain and redness. Sun rays are stronger especially between 11am and 3pm so don’t allow your baby outside and avoid traveling as much as you can.
