My Pregnancy Timeline
7th September 2010 by Babies No CommentsI have now got to month 5 on my pregnancy timeline. I have been through over half of it now and would like you help you in knowing what to expect. I am in a good position now and have started to get really excited. Now I am so excited and counting down the months until my baby is born. I wish the weeks would really start to fly.
I would like to give you a brief overview on how I got to where I am. I didn’t really know how I should feel when I became pregnant. It was a strange feeling. I didn’t feel very pregnant so I felt like something was wrong. You will find that this is the same for most women. It shouldn’t take long on the pregnancy timeline before you really start to feel pregnant.
Suddenly it just hits you. People say that the first trimester of the pregnancy timeline is the hardest and I would agree with that (although I haven’t finished yet!). You feel a lot of the pregnancy symptoms. I really struggled with tiredness and sickness. I was never physically sick but I did feel like I was going to be. I also had headaches, backaches and I did moan at my boyfriend a lot!
At 12 weeks though you get to go for your scan. It is really great to see your baby dancing around on the screen. It was a big relief for my and made me realise why my body was feeling like it was.
After about 14 weeks I started to feel much better. This was the first time along the pregnancy timeline that I actually started to enjoy it. I had more energy and lost the sickly feeling. The only really problem I had was with my bladder. I believe that my baby is probably sitting or lying on it because it can be quite painful.
Time now for the fun stuff… shopping for baby items. I am busy spending my time looking around the shops and searching online for things to buy for the baby. This is what pregnancy should be all about!
